The British Hillclimb Championship organising team are delighted to announce the calendar for both the 2023 British Hillclimb Championship (BHC) and BHC Cup.

The 2023 BHC will consist of thirty rounds at ten venues across the whole of the UK. Loton Park will host an additional Championship weekend in 2023 and joins Shelsley Walsh, Prescott and Harewood in hosting two events during the season. With Doune reverting to a standard weekend in 2023, the only double header weekend will be held at Gurston Down at the end of May. Trips away from the mainland consist of Craigantlet in Northern Ireland, Bouley Bay on the beautiful island of Jersey and Val des Terres on the outskirts of St Peter Port on the picturesque island of Guernsey. The BHC will be presented once again by loyal supporter Avon Tyres. The Championship organising committee would like to take this opportunity to thank Avon Tyres for their continued support.

The 2023 class based BHC Cup will consist of twenty four rounds at the seven mainland venues. This includes a double header at Gurston Down as well as visits to Shelsley Walsh, Prescott, Harewood, Doune, Loton Park and Wiscombe Park. The Championship organising committee would like to thank Classic Car Insurance broker Footman James for their continued support of the BHC Cup for a third season.

With a very exciting 2022 season having now concluded and the 2023 season being one where drivers can qualify to represent their Country at the FIA Masters next October, the season ahead is sure to be an exciting one. After what proved to be a classic battle for 2022 BHC Championship honours, 2023 may yet prove to be better still!!

Class sponsorship packages are available for the 2023 season. Please contact BHC Commercial Lead Stuart Webster at stuart@britishhillclimb.co.uk to discuss the opportunities further.
