The BHC presented by Nova Motorsport makes its first visit to the ‘King of the Hills’, Doune Hillclimb Near Stirling in Scotland over the weekend of 15/16 June. After a dramatic car damaging Shelsley Walsh weekend erstwhile BHC Championship leader Matt Ryder and his team will be ‘burning the midnight oil’ in an attempt to get the Judd engined Gould GR59 repaired in time for the long trip North. New Championship leader Alex Summers will be hoping that his recent good form continues. Alex usually goes well at Doune, his nimble Cosworth engined DJ Firestorm may therefore prove difficult to beat.
After a difficult start to the season, reigning BHC Champion Wallace Menzies will be looking to get his Championship defence back on track. He needs a strong weekend in his Cosworth engined Gould GR59 to get himself back into the mix.
Doune is a superb challenge for the driver and a spectacular venue at which to watch the cream of British Hillclimbing as they battle for BHC points. Tickets will be available for purchase on the gate on both days.
