Reigning BHC Champion Matt Ryder showed everyone that he is determined to retain his crown with narrow wins in both run offs on the fast and flowing public roads of Northern Ireland. At a venue where he has had little success in the past, Matt gave his all to take the wins from Will Hall by nine one hundredths of a second in the first run off and Wallace Menzies, again by nine one hundredths of a second, in the second run off. This leaves Matt with a three point lead over the squabbling Will and Wallace in joint second. We may already be seeing the early signs of a three way Championship fight for the 2025 Championship. If it continues like this it should be quite a scrap!

Trevor Willis and Dave Uren had productive trips, sharing fourth and fifth place finishes. After Craigantlet Trevor sits in an impressive fourth place overall, with Dave six points back in fifth. First time Craigantlet visitor Jack Cottrill had a great trip. Going faster on each run he took sixth place finishes in both run offs and now holds an encouraging eighth place overall in the BHC heading to Harewood.

The BHC now returns to the mainland, with a Championship round scheduled for Harewood in Yorkshire on Sunday 11th May. The BHC presented by Nova Motorsport will be joined by the class based BHC Cup presented by BMTR Motorsport Tyres in partnership with Hoosier. Action is sure to be intense as competitors compete for Championship points. Advance tickets can be purchased by clicking the button below.
