After a tremendous season long battle with four time BHC Champion Wallace Menzies, Matt Ryder secured his second BHC title at Prescott. The British Hillclimb Championship presented by Nova Motorsport has had a fabulous season. Matt Ryder who drives the works Gould GR59 Judd, battle with Wallace was just one of many great battles throughout the year.

Matt’s fourteen run-off victories shows his dominance across the season. Matt has had an excellent season but Wallace and others have certainly kept him on his toes! Run-off wins have been shared across five drivers with Wallace taking six, and Will Hall, Alex Summers and Matt’s co-driver Sean Gould taking two wins each.

Congratulations to Matt, his soon to be expanded family (Matt & wife Kirsty are expecting their first child!), Gould Racing and his support team, ably led by Anthony Lane. Here’s to 2026 and what’s shaping up to be a great battle for outright honours.
